Â For over 90 years their work has focused on education programs, ending pet overpopulation through spay/neuter campaigns, and adoption and rehoming efforts for the animals in their care.

I visited the Bahamas Humane Society last week during their patio sale. All of the volunteers that I met were helpful, friendly and totally committed to the BHS's animals in their care. I was also able to take a tour and was so impressed by the size of the facilities for the animals and how many people were there getting treatment for their pets. I think this is a great organization -definitely drop by for a visit if you are in Nassau, The Bahamas
